I'm having a problem that i've been having for a about a month or two. when I go to chrono my 98 custom the velocity bounces between 230 and 260 fps. this is with the velocity screw almost unscrewed all the way out. I'm running a flatline barrel, 48CU 3000psi HPA tank. i'm also using a remote line but the same thing happens wether i use it or attach the tank directly to the ASA. i looked on another forum and someone with my exact gun setup is having the same issue. Please help. i'll probably take it to the store next week. Thanks in advance.

The drive spring is most likely wearing out. That is the spring behind the rear bolt. I would try replacing that spring and that should take care of that.

We always have drive springs in stock. Stop in any time and just ask for a drive spring for your 98.

I may have to get one so i can adjust the fps of my gun. and when i take apart my gun or when i get a new gun(i might get that etek in march) i can chrono it/break it in at the proper fps. Thanks again, i'll be going there probably friday.
