Where is the field located?
Is it a registered, legit field?
What's the field fee?
What will be your hours of operation?
Any pics of the facility (playable areas)?

I'm also assuming since this in indoor there's a 350FPS limit?

What are the rules?
Standard Florida airsoft rules apply, see below:
FA Rules of Gameplay

Airsoft is meant to be a fun game. Rules are designed not to restrict but protect the safety of its participants and ensure each player has a good time. In developing these rules, we tried to cover realism, game play and safety.

Velocity Limits
400 fps limit with .2 gram Marui BB for all full-auto airsofts.
500 fps limit with .2 gram Marui BB for all semi-auto sniper airsofts.
350 fps limit with .2 gram Marui BB for all indoor CQB style games.
Personal Protection
Goggles REQUIRED. Impact rated (meets or exceeds ANSI standards) fully sealed goggles must be worn at all times on the game fields.
Full face protection REQUIRED - either a balaclava or a full paintball mask that covers both your ears and mouth - must be worn at all times on the game fields.
Minimum Shooting Distance
No shooting less than 5 feet.
Surrender
In outdoor, or non-CQB situations, an order to surrender can only be given within 5 feet and from behind. All players ordered to surrender MUST COMPLY. It is conceivable that player can sneak up to within 5 feet of a group of players and order all of them to surrender.
Eliminations
Any hit from a BB anywhere on your body is an elimination.
Gun hits do not count.
Ricochets count. Any hit from a BB ricochetting off an object close to you (wall, tree, your gun, etc.) counts.
Friendly fire (hits from teammates) counts.
In the event of an elimination, the eliminated player must yell "HIT!". No false calls.
If the area is clear, the eliminated player immediately exits the playing area in the most direct route possible. Either hold both hands or your airsoft above your head. If necessary, call out "HIT!" numerous times to prevent from being shot again.
If the area is "hot", the eliminated player(s) lay down on the ground and wait. It may be necessary to keep yelling "HIT!". When the area clears, exit as described above.
While exiting, the only word from an eliminated player must be "HIT" and nothing else. Dead men tell no tales.
Eliminated players may leave equipment at the spot of elimination for use of the "surviving" members. This is at the discretion of the eliminated player. Equipment must be retrieved at the spot where the player was eliminated.
A note on identifying hits:
When you THINK you may have gotten hit by a BB you should declare yourself hit and walk off the field. Sometimes it is VERY hard to tell if you have been hit. However, if someone fires a full-auto burst at you and you have nothing but soft cover (ie bushes, tall grass, etc) you probably got hit and could not tell. About the only exception is if you are lying prone on the ground and facing your attacker. Since about the only thing you have exposed is your head feeling a BB hit is MUCH easier and much less debateable.

Variations (rule variations will be announced prior to game start)
Nashville Rules: Only hits to the head and torso count. Hits to the limbs DO NOT count. All other rules apply.
Medic Rules:
Instead of exiting the playing field, the 'wounded' player lays down, stays where he/she is, and calls "MEDIC!" The team's designated medic must get to the player to reactivate the player.
The wounded player cannot fire.
The wounded player may talk to teammates regarding enemy positions, etc.
The wounded player may move to a new location only if escorted by live players.
Pyro/Grenades
No paint grenades allowed.
Smoke grenades allowed. Smokes must either be activated in a metal bucket. Alternatively, it can be attached to 2 foot long stakes (minimum) to elevate the device above ground.
All other pyrotechnics subject to prior approval before use. Use of unauthorized devices is subject to immediate dismissal and disbarrment from future events.

What about entrance fees? That question was never answered. Same goes for the hours of operation? No pics of the place at all? There has got to be something we can see.

PostSubject: Website up... FINALLY!!!!!! More than you can Imagine   New AIRSOFT Shoothouse in Broward Icon_minitimeTue Apr 05, 2011 12:53 pm

Hello ECEF,
Many of you want to know when the site will be up... IT IS HERE ! YAY
Seriously, though I want to talk about why first. As many of you know Facebook has a problem with users posting vids and photos of guns or what they refer to as "Violent Content"
I have had pictures and video deleted off my FB and even my Youtube account. So my question is where is "Our" niche ? Where can we act like Americans ?
The answer is "BANG" Twitter people tweet, FaceBookers FB, and now all you shooters can BANG! The way it works is vary similar to FB but, there are many differences!
For Example we encourage reel steel vids and pics, from critics to oppinions and all between. WE LOVE GUNS,GIRLS,AND FREEDOM http://grou.ps/operationbang/join

No offense, but airsoft and real steel should NEVER be mixed. It causes too much of a potential for a problem to arise, especially on a field. It is a HORRIBLE idea. The last thing anyone needs is a kid or even adult picking up a real steel weapon, thinking it's an airsoft gun and firing it. The notion of thinking a typical would check the weapon first is a flawed notion. I've personally witnessed this happen and almost happen quite a few times with individuals of all ages, young and adult.

That leads me to ask this The Shoothouse you've created, is this primarily for airsoft or is this a project like Technon Tactical where you learn tactical training with the use of airsoft weaponry?

No offense taken. However you don't quite know what you are talking about. Airsoft and reel steel have been together for quite a while. As it is merely a medium, one that is part of the "crawl, walk, run process " you do Not bring reel steel to Airsoft events.that is absolutely correct. But you have to understand that not all of us "play" Airsoft. Is is only one way to train. As a former US Army soldier I know from firsthand experience that force on force is very important. As we do not rely only on force on force, it is used in conjunction with other methods of training. Please don't take offense but kids are not welcome at my venues. We strive to maintain a professional atmosphere.

As to your question Technon and FTI are similar, yet very different in key demographics.

Obviously they go hand in hand, but I did not mean they were not related. I meant it as the last thing you want is airsoft weapons and real steel weapons on the field simultaneously.

I'm only asking these questions and stating these comments because of the fact that you're portraying this location as an airsoft field that does tactical training. I welcome the use of airsoft as well as paintball weapons as a means of training. I also know, as you stated, tactical training involves more than welding a weapon. It's just a bit confusing when you begin by stating that there is an indoor CQB arena available for those who are 18yrs or older, then briefly mention that you have tactical training courses.
Which leads me to ask if you do walk-in games for the public or do you have to go through a training course to have access to the arena. As in can I just show up one day for our first time (during the business hours) with a group of airsoft players (all 18+ yrs), and just play for a few hours?

W do allow walkins we rather set appointments due to the fact that we are available 24/7 365. It is not neccessary to take classes with us to use the facility. However in addition to to our Airsoft capabilities we host classes ranging from hand to hand and edged weapons training to real steel marksmanship at one of our partner shooting ranges. Tactical classes are available to all lawful citizens.
So to make a long story short, for a gentleman such as your self. Maybe you get a little tired of Hotshots and a bunch of kids? So you look for another place(like we all do)
a place where you sharpen your skills and familiarize your self with the transition to real steel full auto weapons and thus being allowed to train on a true 270 backdrop shoot n move range. You see our goal is to bridge the gap between the Special Forces and our Special Communities.
You wouldn't take financial advise from a bum, would you? Of coarse not, right?
So why play when you can train to save you and your family's lives when or if the need should ever arise. For most civilians Airsoft is a game, but as you can tell by the number of magazines including SWAT shows how important it is to get out of the typical range atmosphere, and to integrate force on force training as a standard for active shooters.
Futhermore, FTI is accepting the fact that your typical civilian can not get onto training sites whenever they want, let alone true MOUT facilities such as Camp Blanding,Firefox, or the Alpha66 training site. We hold FTX's in the Glades regularly and occasionally we have FWC wanting to take part in excercises.
